The ecological conversation keeps positioning human beings as the saviors of the planet. But the planet is not waiting to be saved by us. It is proceeding according to its own deep intelligence — and our survival depends on our capacity to realign with that intelligence, not to manage it.

The environmental crisis is not a resource management problem. It is a consciousness problem. We destroy what we do not love. We do not love what we do not know. And we do not know the earth because we have spent two centuries learning to be separate from it.
