I Am Not Against Artificial Intelligence. I Am For Something AI Cannot Be.

The debate about AI misses the point entirely. The question is not what machines can do. It is what only you can do.

I use AI. Every serious practitioner in 2026 would be foolish not to. It is a genuinely extraordinary set of tools — for research, for drafting, for pattern recognition, for the kind of systematic analytical work that used to require entire teams and weeks of time.

But I want to be absolutely clear about what AI is doing when I use it: it is handling the parts of my work that do not require me. The parts that are replicable. The parts that are essentially computational — pattern completion, information synthesis, structural organisation.

And then I want to talk about what is left. After you have used AI for everything AI can do — what is the residue? What is the irreducible remainder? That is the conversation I am interested in. Because that remainder is everything.

Presence cannot be automated. The quality of attention that a great teacher brings to a student. The quality of witness that a great healer brings to a patient. The quality of aliveness that a great performer brings to an audience. These are not information delivery systems. They are encounters between consciousnesses. And they require consciousness on both sides.

The Human Premium

Every enterprise I have built — Kala Saadhna, Wellbeing Aacharya, the Shivaakriti Foundation — is built on this: the irreplaceable value of genuine human presence, genuine embodied wisdom, genuine lineage. The things that cannot be replicated, automated, or scaled without losing the thing that makes them valuable.

In a world saturated with AI-generated content, AI-augmented therapy, AI-driven education, the human teacher, healer, and artist becomes not less important but more important. Infinitely more important. Because what they offer cannot be found anywhere else.

Do not compete with AI. Be magnificently, irreducibly human. That is the most future-proof strategy I know.
